Never Too Late A New Start at Age 50 A Journey of Comeback- From WHW to Victory.
Starting from scratch at his fifties, William Hsieh (謝貞德) founded the well-known furniture company- Lifestyle. Hsieh started Lifestyle in the U.S despite being in debt. In 2007, Lifestyle achieved a new hike in revenue of NT$10 billion, and since 2012, the company has been listed on the OTC market in Taiwan. The secret to Hsieh’s success is the rule of WHW- what (what products to sell), how many (how many to sell), and when (when to sell). The WHW rule is simple but never easy to implement. The book- Re-think reveals Hsieh’s hands-on experiences and marketing strategies on how to put the WHW rule into practice.
However, business management requires not only the WHW rule; Hsieh also kept in mind all the help received along the way. It all started out with retrieving an umbrella for his teacher in the university, and the book depicts Hsieh’s life philosophy of holding kindness and goodwill, which led to miraculous moments that helped Hsieh overcome all obstacles. Through Hsieh’s stories and life experiences, readers can have a glimpse into his personality and see how Hsieh got back on his feet.
